I Love History — 1700s: “Let Freedom Ring” consists of nine manuals, daily lesson plans for each month of the school year.  The theme is centered around our American Heritage and the principles of freedom, liberty and love for America.  Each manual, except May, is about 200 pages.  The May manual is a single lesson plan for created a “class town” for students to practice the free enterprise system.


By month, the daily lesson plans cover the following:

September — The Flag, The Pledge, Flag Rules, The Story of our National Anthem

October  —  Family Flags, The Statue of Liberty, Christopher Columbus
November  — The Pilgrims, Native Americans, Mayflower Compact, Thanksgiving
December  — Freedom of Religion, the First Amendment
January      — The Revolutionary War (Daniel Dawson Story)
February     — Presidents Day, The Revolutionary War Story Continued
March         — Deceleration of Independence, The Revolutionary War Story Continued
April            — The Revolutionary War Story Concluded, Constitutional Studies
May             — Setting up a Class Town (or Family Village) Practicing the Free Enterprise System in America
