(Ages 12 and up, 52 pages) The intrinsic value for math is “learning to think and self-govern using correct principles.”

This student workbook contains 34 principles of geometry, and an introduction explains the many uses of geometry in occupations and jobs. Students learn the basics of geometrical shapes, as well as how to figure the area, perimeter, radius, diameter, circumference, etc. of flat objects. Degrees of various lines are explained, including different types of angles and how to figure composite geometric figures.

Principles also cover square units, cubic unites, square roots, the Pythagorean Theorem, and congruent objects. Several reviews and answer keys challenge the student’s knowledge throughout the book.

This method is different from other math books because students are expected to create and solve their own math problems. They can go as deep and difficult as they wish in order to challenge their understanding and knowledge of the use of geometry.
